Resident lifetime value (LTV)

Also: resident LTV · lifetime value of a resident

Resident lifetime value is the total revenue a community expects from one resident over their stay, estimated as monthly rent multiplied by the expected length of stay for that care type.

Why it matters in senior living

Industry figures put a single resident's LTV around $120,000, with assisted living stays near two years, independent living longer, and memory care and skilled nursing shorter but at higher monthly rates.

LTV is what turns an attribution funnel into a dollar figure: AI-sourced move-ins multiplied by LTV is the revenue the channel produced, and the same move-ins multiplied by the avoided referral fee is the cost it saved.

How Nuovee treats it

Where the CRM supplies an LTV, Nuovee uses it; otherwise it estimates rent times an expected stay per care type and labels the figure as an estimate.
