Who builds Nuovee, and the rules we measure by
Families now ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI for senior-living recommendations before they click anything. The community the AI names gets the inquiry, usually direct and fee-free. Most operators can't see whether AI recommends them at all. Nuovee exists to make that visible, fixable, and provable.

What Nuovee is
Nuovee is B2B SaaS — AI-search visibility measurement and move-in attribution, built only for US senior living. It measures how often each of an operator's communities is cited by ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Gemini when families ask, shows which sources each engine pulls from and what to fix, and, joined to the operator's own CRM, proves which AI-sourced families actually toured and moved in. We describe that as see it, fix it, prove it.
It is built for one buyer: VP of Sales & Marketing (or the owner) at a senior-living operator with roughly 15–150 communities. It is not a family directory, it takes no referral fees, and it does not replace the CRM an operator already runs. WelcomeHome (API), plus a CRM-agnostic CSV import path for Aline/Enquire, Yardi, Sherpa and others.
Who builds it
Builds Nuovee end to end — the measurement engine, the attribution join to the operator's CRM, and the dashboard. Writes every guide on this site.

The measurement rules we hold ourselves to
Everything on this site, in the free checker, and in the dashboard follows the same rules. They are the reason the numbers can be taken to a CFO.
- We ask each engine the questions families actually ask — for example “best memory care near Austin” — several times per day, because AI answers change run to run.
- A community's visibility rate is the share of those runs in which it was named. It is reported per engine with a 95% Wilson confidence interval, so a small sample shows as a wide band rather than a false-precise number.
- We never report an “AI rank.” The same question returns a different ordering nearly every time it is asked, so a rank is noise; a rate over many runs is stable.
- Only known brands are matched (the community and the competitors it tracks); we never invent a competitor from free text.
- An engine error is excluded from the sample, not counted as a zero. A Google results page without an AI Overview is counted, because the community genuinely could not be named there.
- Attribution is directional: every inquiry-to-move-in link carries a match method and a confidence score, and the funnel is labeled accordingly.
What we will not do
- No family-facing directory and no referral fees — Nuovee is operator-side only, never an aggregator.
- No replacement CRM — it joins to the CRM the operator already runs (WelcomeHome first; CSV import for any other).
- No ranking promises — nobody can get a community “ranked #1 in ChatGPT.”
How each engine is measured
- ChatGPT
- Asked through OpenAI's API with web search on; the answer text and the pages it cites are parsed for named communities.
- Google AI Overviews
- The Google results page is fetched for the same question; the AI Overview block, when Google shows one, is parsed. A results page with no AI Overview counts as a run where you could not be named — that is real signal, not an error.
- Perplexity
- Asked through Perplexity's Sonar API; the answer and its citations are parsed.
- Gemini
- Asked through Google's Gemini API with grounding on; the grounded answer and its sources are parsed.
Engines are added one key at a time. When an engine is not yet live for an account, the dashboard labels its numbers as sample data rather than showing a made-up figure. The free checker only shows engines that returned real answers.
Editorial standards for the guides
Every guide carries a visible "updated" date and is written from the measurement data Nuovee collects, public industry sources, and operator conversations. Where a number is an estimate or a range, it is labeled as one. We correct guides when the engines change their behavior, which they do often.
Where to start
