Directional attribution
Directional attribution is attribution that reports which way the evidence points and how strongly, rather than claiming an exact count, by attaching a confidence level to every link between an inquiry and an outcome.
Why it matters in senior living
The alternative, deterministic attribution, assigns every move-in to one channel with certainty. In senior living that certainty is fiction: families touch several channels over months, and the CRM record rarely holds a clean first-touch source.
Directional attribution keeps the useful signal (this channel produced roughly this many move-ins, with this much confidence) and drops the false precision. It is the number a CFO can accept without being misled.
How Nuovee treats it
Every attribution link in Nuovee carries a match method and a confidence between 0 and 1, and every funnel view says so.
