Dynamic number insertion (DNI)
Also: DNI · call tracking numbers
Dynamic number insertion is a call-tracking technique that shows a different phone number to visitors depending on where they came from, so inbound calls can be attributed to a channel.
Why it matters in senior living
Senior living inquiries are often phone calls, so a web-only attribution system misses a large share of them. A tracking number pooled on AI-oriented landing pages lets a call be tagged as AI-sourced with the same confidence as a form fill.
Call-tracking vendors such as CallRail deliver each call as a webhook; the attribution system records the call ID and the number dialled, and joins the caller to a CRM prospect by phone.
How Nuovee treats it
Nuovee ingests call-tracking webhooks idempotently by call ID and tags calls to configured AI tracking numbers as AI-sourced.
